New Things

Here are some pictures of the house. The new vanilla colour on the walls, the bedroom cover up, and the boy!

It was a greyish/green undertoned colour that looked light enough but sure sucked the light and reflected nothing.

Now, the new vanilla colour is light and bright and airy.

This is the once forest green cave of a master bedroom getting it's first coat of primer. I have yet to finish the final colour, hence no update picture yet! But man, was it dark in there.

The boy, complete with his own hard hat now, running full tilt into the propane bottle. It kept him busy for a long time!

He actually stopped long enough for me to take a picture!

We went to the water park and playground after church and had a picnic. They haven't turned the water on yet so he played at the overcrowded playground for a long time. Daddy and I remarked at how much he has grown up in the past couple months. He is really a 4 year old now and not a three year old. His coordination has improved, he was sailing over some of the play equipment. He is playing with other kids much better and not scared of them as he once was.

Where has my baby gone???

He left positively happy (that's never happened before!) when we asked if he would like an ice cream (not now, thanks) and go home to the sprinkler (yes, please!). It was a great afternoon and now I have to make a potato salad as the guys have built a fire in the back yard so we can roast weinies! It's a gorgeous 21C with blue skies.

I hope your Sunday has been just as blessed :)

Oh and yes, tomorrow I am 38 weeks, feeling great, have bounds of energy and am blessed to feel so good despite the water retention that now makes my right hand numb and tingly 24/7.

And Gramma Patricia shows up in 1 week! Yay! There's a jar of saskatoons in the cupboard just itching to be made into a pie! Hee hee!
