So we FINALLY got around to trying to install the overhead microwave/venting fan unit above the stove.
Trouble was, like the rest of this darn house, that:
A) The cabinet was like 34" wide and the microwave only 30"
B) It stuck out 4" past the cabinets
C) The ONLY wall stud was smack in the middle and you need a stud on either side to mount the holding bracket
The last one is what made us return the unit to Home Depot.
We were past the 90 days so we just got store credit. Better than a poke in the eye with a sharp stick, as Grampa Sev used to say!
We came home with a new stainless steel small microwave for the counter, a new stainless steel outlet cover that does NOT require us to drill into the tile (Ann you'd love this!) and paint stripper. We still have $206 on the Home Depot card to boot!
Daddy stripped the wallpaper off most of the second wall and I need to get off the computer and patch some holes in the kitchen so I can continue to paint.
The girl is extra cute and gets cuter through the night. Oh ya, she also slept 5hrs and then 4hrs last night!
The boy is still the boy, still high energy, still up way too early and still cute!
The dog is growing, laying on more of my irises and flattening them to the ground (grrr....that's me, not the dog), getting into more trouble around the yard, chewing on everything and still cute.
I am back at the gym this week and loving it. Still getting thinner. Still cute.
Daddy is working more this week and next (Thank you Jesus!), still waiting on word about the Hydro jobs (please Jesus!), and not so cute. Hey, he just farted! That's not cute!
And my wrap, it's still heavenly :)
