Ukrainian dancing wasn't so hot. This is the class where herding cats would be easier. He started with visions of a treat and listened for 15 -20 minutes but after that he and the other 3 yr old girl just ran around and ignored instruction! In his defense, she was taking them one at a time and trying to teach them how to skip and gallop and that's just too slow an agenda for him! At least he tried. We'll keep going back. And if after several classes he isn't getting better and the others are, then perhaps we'll pull out until next year. But I really want to embroider him a shirt! How cute would that be??? There are at least 2 other boys in this class!

Can't you see my boy doing this??? If only I can keep his interest until he can do it!!!
Of course, at performances, he would be the one walking around to his own agenda while the rest did the dance. He would be the one people laugh at and then that would make him be even more of a ham! Sigh...oh well. At least it'll be entertainment!!!
And if he doesn't continue and even if he does, I am going to try and join the dance group as well. 11 yrs of ballet must have given me some advantage!
