Spring Roared In

Seasons in the 'Knife come very quickly and really there is little to no spring or fall. Last week it was still -30C at night and without warning we are in our third day of melting with barely below freezing at night!

Its sooo funny how people went from parkas to summer in the blink of an eye. Yesterday the streets were full of water but also kids everywhere on bikes! You still can barely see the sidewalks for all the snow and slush but they were out on bikes, in the middle of the road. Today, I saw a guy pulling his boat out a snowbank in his yard. People are putting away skidoos like crazy, even though the lake won't be ice free until June-ish. Its funny, but a final break from old nasty man winter :)

And lastly, congrats to my friend Rania who had twin boys on the weekend! Emerson and Riley Page, welcome to the world! No wonder its so sunny and happpy the past couple days :)
