Today

It was B.E.A.UTIFUL today :heart: :heart:

It was pure sunshine, a deep blue clear sky, and at least +10C because I was without a jacket for over an hour just sitting outside and I am always cold!

The sun inside was shining on the girl who was playing quietly and learning new things. Like how to open the toy drawer on the bottom of the TV cabinet, and so darn proud of herself for it!

She was actually smiling in this photo because she loves it when you say "Here kitty, kitty, kitty, meow!" Apparently it's quite funny! But not funny enough to take the thumb out :)

What's wrong with this photo?

Her legs were actually out to the other side but she looks legless!

Quiet = bad!

She has quite destroyed the catalogues. What you can't see is the pile of ripped off pieces of magazine behind the magazine holder!!! That's where the boy throws them when he takes them away from her!

I LOVE this photo. The sunlight was much prettier in person. She was so content playing with whatever she could drag out of the drawer :) And she's all chubby :)

She can amazingly play like this for a long time balanced on her hip. She sways back and forth but stays there!

Again, quiet = bad.

What we didn't know is that there is a metal ring on top of the buried septic cover and she has dug it up! She is also digging in the flower bed behind because it's on top of the septic as well and has no snow :P This is her new best spot. She'll lift her head to look at you but it's too nice and warm to actually move from!

The boy is in that phase of "You can't catch me on film Mommy!" so this is a rare (not fuzzy) photo these days!

His new fishy hat from Grampa John :) He LOVES this hat! It's from Paulatuk, NWT.

This what +10C and melting looks like :) I was out pushing slush off the driveway because we have 5" of solid ice on it from all the water running down everyday!!! And when it starts to break up we often have to take a couple runs at the driveway before we can get up it!

It was so beautiful I deemed it time to bring out the bike!

I just love the colours in this photo. His trucks get a lot of mileage and this one is currently parked on top of the snow bank.
